Saudi VMUG – Volunteer Speakers Needed

nologo  Any VMUG member who volunteers to present a 10 minute Lightning Talk at next month’s Saudi VMUG will receive a “VMworld 2014” Swag bag comprising of stickers, t-shirt and goodies from the “VMworld 2014 Solutions Exchange”.

You can present about any subject that involves virtualisation technology at your customer site.  For example, your experiences upgrading from ESXi 4.0 to ESXi 5.5, implementing a backup and recovery solution that integrates with vSphere VADP, implementing vCAC, storage migration from old array to new array, etc.  You get the idea.  We are interested in hearing about your experiences and your advice to us if we were implement a similar project.

Also, I will be providing a “Grand Prize”: a “VMworld 2014” back pack “LOADED” with vendor swag.  This will be raffled off and the winning ticket will be randomly drawn at the end of the dinner.

During the dinner, I will also be providing “Ask the Expert” services, so please bring any technical, operational or architectural issues that you are struggling with and if I can provide a solution for you I will.
