I recently watched a TED talk by Simon Sinek, that ties in nicely with this post.
Speaking for myself as an Enterprise Architect, I am passionate about IT architecture and I love what I do. I am driven by the need to transform, innovate and improve whatever I am working on. I want to make a difference. I want to work with the best on this planet. I am not interested in mediocre, half-arsed solutions – I want the most simple and elegant designs that meet my business requirements.
So ask yourself, what motivates you to get out of bed in the morning? Why do you do what you do?
